Peter Popoff Ministries
The Rev. Peter Popoff is the founder of People United for Christ, one of the world's leading Christian missions. Rev. Popoff preaches about Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit with unique energy and belief in the supernatural. He is an exponent of the healing power of God, as exemplified by Peter Popoff Miracle Water which he promises will help fulfill your prayers.
Rev. Popoff was born in Germany in 1946. He has been active in Christian missionary work since 1977. From his first appearances at church conventions, Rev. Popoff has shown the uncanny ability to know the home addresses and specific illnesses of strangers in the audience. The reverend regularly thanks God for this ability.
Many skeptics have tried to despoil the reverend's good name, but Rev. Popoff has told audiences live and through pamphlets that such people were "tools of the devil". His ability to communicate with the masses is on display through infomercials that run on various networks, including BET, Travel Channel, Learning Channel, Global Television, TV One, Word Network and Vision TV. His outreach extends beyond America to include broadcasts in Australia, the U.K., and New Zealand.
The free cross inscribed with "Jerusalem" offered by Rev. Popoff in 2009 contained holy sand and blessed water from Chernobyl, water that protected drinking animals from radiation sickness. His latest infomercial describes his techniques for Supernatural Debt Elimination. He as authored a leading series of books, including "7 Hours in Heaven", "Angels", "Divine Wrath", "God's Abundant Blessings", "Guaranteed Answer Prayer" and "Prosperity Thinking."
The Rev. Popoff is no stranger to large crusade services, and has ministered at many in which over 10,000 people have come forward to accept Jesus. His message of healing, salvation, blessing and success through prayer and worship has reached millions of individuals.
Rev. Popoff is famous for his support of new churches in the former Communist countries of eastern Europe. Those regimes had torn down all the churches. To help remedy the problem, Rev. Popoff has sponsored over 140 churches and 20 orphanages in former Eastern Block countries. In the 1980's and 1990's, his ministry used helium filled balloons with bibles attached to spread the word to large areas behind the Iron Curtain. Those wrapped in watertight bags floated ashore in many lands to teach the Gospel to those who had been suppressed and persecuted because of their religious beliefs.
In Africa, Rev. Popoff launched a free children's outpatient hospital with physicians who shared the reverend's belief in the healing power of Christ. Truly, few Christian missionaries have made such a lasting impact as has Rev. Peter Popoff.
